Learn how to set up CP1W-EIP61 Ethernet/IP Option Board

This document shows how to set up CP1W-EIP61 Ethernet/IP option board:

Set DIP Switch to enable slot 1 or 2.

Related Ethernet/IP Settings:

Instance assembly 102 100 byte ( Inputs)
Instance assembly 103 100 byte ( outputs)
Configuration: 128.
EIP61 card normal mode
Fixed address memory:

memory:
If using CP1W-EIP61 normal mode, which allows data exchange 50 words in or out.
Fixed memory address: D1000 to D1099 ( Out), D1100 to D1199 ( In)
D1000 to D1099 (50 Words,100 byte) input data from EIP61 to AB PLC.
D1100 to D1199( 50 Words, 100 Byte) output data from AB PLC to EIP61.
Rockwell RSlogix 5000 software configuration:
1. Insert a generic Ethernet Module in I/O Configuration in RSLogix 5000,
2. Set up the module parameters as below:
Input Assembly instance 102, size:25 (32-bit, DINT)
Output Assembly instance103,size:25 (32-bit, DINT)
Configuration: 128, Size:0
IP address, depends on the EIP61 option card setting.


System setup:
CP1L-EM30DRT1 ( PNP output , 24 VDC power supply, FINS Ethernet builit-in)
CP1W-EIP61 ( CP series micro PLC Ethernet/IP Card, Normal mode 50 words in or 50 Words output, or using I/O block mode purely for PLC input & output bits display and exchange)
