Scenario

The remote operation tool connects correctly to the FHV7H camera but when trying to set the lighting module or the autofocus lens, an error message appears or the focus doesn’t change:

Cause

The version of the Remote Operation tool differs from the version of the camera firmware. Check the versions in Function > System Information. 

Solution

When launching the Remote Operation tool, make sure to select the version matching the camera firmware. 

If the correct version is not installed on your computer, contact your Omron engineering team to receive a download link.
