Actual positions are compared with internally stored target values.Position control Units are used for point-to-point positioning with servo drives or stepper motors. Target data and acceleration/deceleration curves can be adjusted on-the-fly.Position- and motion control Units equipped with MECHATROLINK-II interface can control multiple drives through a single high-speed link. Message routing through mutliple communication layers allows the attached drives to be configured from any point in the control network.
